EtherNet/IP, better known as the Common Industrial Protocol (CIP) that wide deployment in industrial automation. The SE400 series has built-in EtherNet/IP CIP Messaging that offer the premier integration into Studio 5000 Automation Engineering and Desi gn Environment, the user can use our integration modules including FactoryTalk View Faceplate and Add-on Profiles for simplified configuration and monitoring. Plus SE400 EtherNet/IP series certified by ODVA and fully compatible with Allen-Bradley autom ation systems.
SE400 series has essential L2 managed switching features, such as network security, management, redudancy and diagnostic functions. Default enabled IGMP Snooping and EtherNet/IP functions allows SE400 switch to forward and filter multicast traffic in PLC/HMI/IO control networking intelligently. With QoS, Rate limiting, VLAN setting, the user can easily prioritize the networking traffic and segment the separated local group domains to tailor the actual networking requirement in indus trial automation.
Also embedded into each switch with industry leading IXM cross management technology. IXM allows the installer to auto synchronize firmware updates and push configuration settings to either individual or groups of switches. IXM provides maintenance and provisioning functionality to both the SE400 and SE300 family switches without the need of extra software or trained personal. IXM speeds up switch deployment and ensures network stability.
