The Bosch VG4-323-ECS1M is a high performance PTZ dome camera designed with an emphasis on providing dependable security monitoring both day and night and in most lighting and weather conditions. As part of the AutoDome 300 Series Camera System, this dome is made up of individual components, each available for separate purchase. This makes it possible to swap, replace or upgrade a particular portion without having to buy a whole new system, thus preserving an original investment. For example, a user can install an IP module to add Internet capabilities to this camera or change the existing mount or power supply for one that better suits a particular application. When confronted by poor or difficult lighting situations, this camera has a range of internal controls that it can readily tap into and self correct. Chiefly among those is a Day/Night function and 12x Digital Noise Reduction. DNR effectively deals with such problems as harsh back lit situations and areas containing both very dark and very bright sections within the same image, conditions frequently present in glass enclosed lobbies and outdoor parking lots. The camera's Day/Night function auto switches the video signal from high resolution color to an ultra-sensitive B/W mode when light levels fall, thus ensuring dependable 24-hour security monitoring. In preset mode, camera movement can be operated at an incredible 360° per second for pan and 210° per second for tilt.
