Sony EFFIO Camera Features

The NIGHTGUARD-700TVL digital color camera features Sony’s latest Effio technology. The camera offers great improvement in low lux performance and literally turns night into day. The NIGHTGUARD-700TVL features a high resolution 700 line CCD in the 1/3-inch format.

Typical color cameras are unable to produce usable images in low light conditions. Sony’s new dual sensor solves this issue. The NIGHTGUARD-700TVL Sony Super HAD™ technology utilizes an auto-switching CCD that automatically switches to black and white with infrared assist during low lux environments.

The camera features a 2.8-12mm varifocal lens, adjustable from the bottom of the camera.

The NIGHTGUARD-700TVL day/night color camera provides exceptional illumination with its high powered array of 72 LED illuminators. The cameras IR range is in excess of 195 feet.

Encased in an IP66 enclosure, the NIGHTGUARD-700TVL can operate under a variety of harsh, outdoor environments. Water, dust, and crush resistant glass coating ensures a clear, vivid picture, while the material coating isolates ultra-violet rays ensuring long and stable operation.

I am impressed with this camera. I ordered it to replace one I had over looking the drive way. WOW! What a difference there is. Instead of seeing part of one car in the driveway and one in the street, I see the entire driveway with two cars and the front. A very wide street view! And the night view is excellent. I have uploaded a picture of the view at night overlooking my driveway at night with no lights on. The three other cameras have some night vision, but this new camera really shows everything. And for the price I paid....its a deal. I hooked it up in minutes, and adjusted the camera within seconds. The arm that mounts the camera is metal, and you can adjust easily. Once its locked into place it stays steady. You cannot find a better wide view/night vision camera for this price!

HOW TO ACCESS SYSTEM USING P2P VIA MOBILE APPLICATION

View your recorder and cameras on the go. The Mobile Application IDMSS (IOS) / GDMSS (Android) allows you to add IMAXPRO recorders and cameras to the mobile app using P2P.

PREREQUISITES

- Smartphone (IOS device or Android)

- IDMSS/GDMSS already downloadedin your mobile device.

- P2P must be turned on from the recorder and connected to a network with internet access.

 

STEP BY STEP INSTRUCTION

(VERSION 4.50.000)

 

1. Open iDMSS/gDMSS on the phone, and select the home icon located on the top left corner.

 

2. Select the "Device" button/icon on the bottom to add the recorder/camera.

3. Select the "+" sign then select "Scan" to add the device.

4. Select the Device you want to Connect (If you have a wired Camera, Please choose Wired Camera).

 

 

5. Input the device for easy identification. It's required to input the password for the added device then select the save icon located on the top right corner.
