The JVC LM-170AU is a 17" professional production quality LCD capable of displaying high quality images at SXGA resolution. This model takes advantage of TFT technology, producing both accurate colors and contrast levels. The monitor has a variety of digital and analog inputs, for extra versatility in the field or studio. Additionally, the monitor is multi-regional, supporting both NTSC and PAL standards. All of these features make the LM-170AU a perfect solution for a wide array of professional video applications and broadcasting environments. The LM-170AU brings the advantages of flat screen monitors to the professional level. Compared with conventional CRT monitors this unit is lighter, while occupying less space and power. The display technology produces a very bright 300 cd/m² high resolution picture with wide 170° (horizontal) viewing angle, making it easy to see wherever you are in the room. The LM-170AU comes with two standard Composite Video inputs, each one with a bridged output. It can be connected to your PC via the 15-pin VGA or DVI connectors and it will display images with resolutions up to and including 1280 x 1024 pixels . The LM-170AU displays images with aspect ratios 4:3 or 16:9. The on-screen menu system is easily accessed through front panel controls. Because of its heavy duty design, the LM-170AU offers a wide range of installation options. It comes standard with a metal desk stand. An optional rack mounting kit is available. For wall mounting there are four VESA standard 100mm mounting holes on the rear panel. Four capped through holes are located on the front corners of the bezel and offer even more options for mounting. These holes may be used to install additional screen protection if necessary.
