The Bosch DSA-N2B20-06AT iSCSI Disk Array has a base unit that supports a maximum of 6 x 1 TB SATA-II hard disk drives. Being a fully featured RAID protected disk array, the DSA-N2B20 provides RAID-4 protection for capacity-oriented environments and RAID-DP protection for availability oriented environments. The RAID-DP protection allows for capacity expansion with no RAID rebuild or disturbance to the users. With the help of Web GUI administration tool, the DSA-N2B20 iSCSI Disk Array offers central management. Also integrated into the system is a powerful Command Line Interface (CLI), accessible remotely by telnet, ssh or rsh. Equipped with redundant hot-swap power and cooling, dual Gigabit Ethernet ports, NVRAM, and protection from double-disk failure and single bit errors during RAID rebuilds with RAID-DP, the disk array offers complete data protection. A maximum bandwidth of up to 250 Mbps with a maximum of 128 simultaneous iSCSI connections is offered. Support for full SNMP version 1 (SNMP is an Internet-standard protocol for managing devices on IP networks) as well as MIB-II (Management Information Base) and NetApp custom MIBs is offered via the monitoring features.
