0192-004 Axis Rack Solution Axis Communications AXIS Rack Solution accepts up to twelve AXIS Video Blade Servers and converts their attached analog camera signals into high quality, de-interlaced digital video for transmission over a network. Blade Servers can be installed in any combination of twelve, and because it supports hot swapping, Blades can also be removed or replaced without first powering down the unit .This Rack Solution also doesn't need to be fully populated in order for it to work, but is fully functional even with only one or two blades installed. In the event that fewer than twelve Blades are installed,included blanking panels can be used to give the unit a neat appearance and to prevent dust from entering internal electronics. A single Ethernet port connects the Rack Solution to the network, with additional ports in the back of each slot, providing alarm I/Oconnection and remote PTZ communication for each attached camera.
