The Pelco EH8106L Enclosure for Legacy is IP67-rated and accepts cameras having either fixed focal length or motorized lenses. The enclosure is compatible with a medium duty pan/tilt mount such as PT870 Series. The enclosure protects the camera and lens against harsh environmental conditions. The sealed enclosure is suitable for indoor and outdoor applications and can be used with fixed or pan/tilt mounts.
The enclosure is pressurized with dry nitrogen, preventing contaminants and impurities from entering the enclosure and potentially causing damage to camera and lens components. The pressure relief valve is used for regulating the dry nitrogen gas and prevents overcharging. The 6" enclosure features a thermostatic-controlled heater for regulating the inner temperature.
While the power, video, and lens control cables are routed via the MS-type connector on the rear, the T-Handle feature allows you to remove the rear plate from housing. It enables you to easily handle and access camera and lens. With camera mounting sled and track assembly, the camera and lens can be quickly adjusted to accommodate various cameras.
