AXIS Q6042 is an advanced indoor PTZ dome, offering higher resolution than normal D1, 36x optical zoom, and fast and precise pan/ tilt performance for wide area coverage and great detail when zooming in. The cabinet is IP66 and NEMA 4X rated for protection against the ingress of dust and high pressure water jets from any direction, as well as IK10 rated for protection against impact and vandal acts. It features an aspherical lens, low-dispersion glass, and incorporated advanced optical design technology. This lens produces high-precision images from the image center to the margin areas, and exploits the full performance of a megapixel camera. It is suitable for high-quality image surveillance with megapixel cameras, as well as lower resolution cameras.The varifocal Lens offers a traditional surveillance camera view. As the focal length is increased, the lens offers a narrower angle of view and thus increases the magnifying capabilities of the lens.
