VCC-WB4000 Day/Night Network Video Camera is a mini-dome camera that goes a step above the standard model with an installed VA-50LAN board, adding Ethernet, PoE and audio capabilities to the camera. Network video is captured in the JPEG format, with frame rates and picture quality adjustable to suit various network environments. Up to sixteen clients can access the camera simultaneously, with a password authentication system limiting access to authorized users.PoE (Power over Ethernet) uses the standard Ethernet cable to transmit power to the camera, allowing the camera to be installed in areas inaccessible to an electrical outlet. Another advantage of PoE is its ability to keep the camera operating in the event of a power failure.Built into the camera is a 2.6x motorized zoom lens which uses a unique pan-focus system to provide greater depth of field when viewing near or distant objects. A 3-axis hinge mechanism offers various manual pan and tilt angle adjustments while a built-in motion detector alerts the operator to any unexpected activities. A discreet dome liner effectively hides the camera while keeping the viewing area clear.
