Solution:
Please refer to the steps below to solve your issue. If you need any further assistance from us, please be aware that a service fee may be charged.
a. Check up the newest S/W version on Official Download Page of GV-VMS / NVR and make sure the S/W version of the GV-VMS / NVR is the newest.
b. Make sure the 3rd party IP device uses proper IP Address / Subnet Mask / Default Gateway to be in the same LAN / VPN network as the GV-VMS / NVR and its web interface on IE browser function well.
c. Use VLC or ONVIF Device Manager to prove if the 3rd party IP device's ONVIF is OK.
If it’s NOT OK, please contact the 3rd party IP device's technician to see if they are using standard ONVIF protocol or any other way, such as RTSP command to be integrated into GV-VMS / NVR.
If it’s OK, please provide us with TeamViewer connection for us to remote in and troubleshoot the GV-VMS / NVR.
d. If the result of Step #c is NOT OK and you need GV-Technician for troubleshooting the compatibility between GV-VMS / NVR and the 3rd party IP device, there will be a charge needed to be paid.
* GV-3rd part device Dongle for NVR / DVR doesn’t work in VMS so you might need to get the new dongle from GV-Sales Representative.
