RS-422 Control
Input and output connectors on the rear of this device allow two translators units to be cascaded, providing 32 Coaxitron port control using a single RS-422 communication port on a System 9700 Series CC1.
8-Position DIP Switch
An eight-position DIP switch allows the protocol for the BNC inputs to be set to either 15 or 32 bits. It is also used to configure P or D protocol and data rates.
