How to Generate a Temporary Password for Uniview NVRs

This tutorial will cover how to generate a temporary password for Uniview NVRs. With the password generation tool, you will no longer need to contact us to get a password reset, simply just follow these steps and you will be good to go!

 

Log in to the EZcloud website: http://en.ezcloud.uniview.com/admin

 

The next step, we will need to find the devices serial number. There are 3 ways to do this.

  1. From the box the device came in.
  2. On the printed label located on the device.
  3. Using EZTools to search the device on the local network

 

Then we will need the devices date. This may vary. This is important because there is a different password generated every day so the date must be correct.

 

The last step is to input the devices serial number and date and press retrieve. It will generate a password for you to log in to your device with. Please change the password immediately.
