How to Backup an Event to CD / DVD

If you have a CD Writer, follow the instructions for CD. If you have a CD/DVD Writer, then please follow the DVD instructions

CD
Select the Event(s) you want to backup in the Viewlog. You can select multiple events by doing the following

Click on First event you want
Hold down the Shift Key
Click on the Last event you are interested in
All the wanted events should be highlighted blue.

OR

Click on multiple events, whilst holding the CTRL Key

Right Click on the Event(s)
Select Backup

Click OK to Confirm Backup Period


Select CD Using OS-Burning under Media



If you want any additional backup periods, then click on Add Schedule

Click on OK

If asked to Overwrite, Click Yes

The following window will appear


The Windows CD Burning Wizard will appear


Type a Description into the CD Name box
Click on Next


Your CD will be completed shortly.


Playback of the CD on another PC

Insert the CD
The CD should Autorun and run the Viewlog application

If the CD fails to Autorun,;

Open My Computer
Open the CD
Open EZViewlog500.exe


How to Backup an Event to DVD

DVD
Select the Event(s) you want to backup in the Viewlog. You can select multiple events by doing the following

Click on First event you want
Hold down the Shift Button
Click on the Last event you are interested in
All the wanted events should be highlighted blue.

Right Click on the Event(s)
Select Backup

Click OK to Confirm Backup Period


Select Using CD / DVD under Media


If you want any additional backup periods, then click on Add Schedule

Click on OK
The following Window will appear
Click on OK

Open Nero Express CD / DVD burning software START>Programs>Nero>Nero OEM>NeroExpress

Select your DVD burner from the top menu (Which recorder would you like to use?)

Click on Data
Click on Data Disc


Right Click on the empty area of the screen
Click on Paste


There should now be many files in the Window
Click on Next


Click on Burn



Playback of the DVD on another PC

Insert the DVD
The DVD should Autorun and run the Viewlog application

If the DVD fails to Autorun,;

Open My Computer
Open
the DVD
Open EZViewlog500.exe
