Issue:

Face recognition errors while wearing masks.


Root cause:

The database update of user enrolled photos is required. With masks wearing, the detectable eigenvalue in FR Panel is low so random face recognition errors would happen. (e.g. the correct result should be A but recognized as B)


Solution:

You may re-enroll photos and update the database in FR Panel by the following 3 ways to resolve face recognition errors.

*Please note the enrollment should be photos without masks.1 face profile allows 3 photos as a face recognition eigenvalue, If FR Panel recognised A as B while wearing masks, to re-enroll A and B photos is recommended.


1.To enroll photos through FR Panel web.

Step: open FR Panel Wen and click Face Management. Click Face Profiles (as red box) → Edit Face Data, Enroll photos.

2.To enroll photos through GV-Face Manager.

Step: Click the following icon(as red box) → Enter Name and other related information, Click “V” to complete enrollment.

3.To enroll through GV-Face App.

Step: Open GV-Face App and press Members icon(as red box) → Enter Name and other related information, press “V” to complete enrollment.

*Note:GV-FR Panel can not only trigger output through face recognition but also be able to set a stonger output trigger authorization by Card and Face mode setting.

Step: Open FR Panel Web → Click Authentication Mode → Change it to Card and Face (as red box)
