1 fps (frames per second) is the lowest frame rate recordable and 30
frames per second is the maximum which is real time and comparable to DVD video playback.
There is no real need to record in real time unless there are
regulatory reasons as in case of government facilities or banks and casinos. Point of Sale / POS Cameras are recommended to record at 15 to 30 fps to ensure that each movement of each dollar tender can be recorded and played back with accurate clarity.
Recording at 1 frame per second is what traditional analog
At 5 - 7 frames per second recording you will not miss any
activity (remember this is per second)
