ASManager V6.0.1.A, unable to playback footage on ASWeb when using Google Chrome ( WebSocket ) - 20220720

Issue:

Unable to playback access log footage in ASWeb when using the Chrome browser. However, access log footage can be played back in ASManager and ASWeb when using Internet Explorer.

Answer:

Please change the “Connect Type” of the VMS Host Setting in ASManager to “WebSocket” to allow for playback using the Chrome browser.

Note: The default Connect Type setting “ASManager” only supports playback via Internet Explorer.
