Albuquerque is a city in Bernalillo County, New Mexico. It is the most populous city in the state, with a current estimated population of 558,000. The University of New Mexico is also a large employer for the city and its School of Medicine was ranked as one of the top 50 graduate schools in the country by US New and World Report in 2008.
