The Toshiba Surveillix EVR Series sets the standard in fault tolerant, high definition recording. With a chassis engineered for enhanced airflow allowing maximum heat dissipation, available internal RAID 5 HDD capabilities and redundant power supplies, the EVR Series is designed for maximum uptime. In the event a problem does occur, field replaceable hard drives and power supplies allow replacement of the failed components without ever having to remove the EVR from the customer site or even turn off the recorder. Multiple users may simultaneously connect through any network connection for instantaneous live viewing, digital search, and off-site video storage.By utilizing an Intel Core i7 processor, 4GB RAM, dual Gigabit Ethernet ports, and security features, the recorder is capable of supporting up to 64 IP cameras. With Microsoft Windows 7 as the embedded operating system, the server offers stable and secure operation along with ease of useUsers can also connect remotely through DSL, cable modems, or ISDN connections. The Surveillix server software comes pre-configured for fast and seamless integration within your existing IT infrastructure. The software enables users to establish recording schedules, create motion-detection zones, use PTZ controls, and configure alarm inputs and outputs for each of the system's cameras.
