The Pelco SD435-PG-E0 is an industrial grade PTZ dome camera designed with an emphasis on providing dependable security monitoring in practically any lighting environment or weather condition. As such, it is the camera of choice for securing banks, government buildings, sports facilities and similar applications of a high security nature. Its chief characteristics are a 35x optical zoom, a WDR and Day/Night function, and a weather resistant construction with integrated heater, fan and sun shield.

As part of Pelco's Spectra IV SE series, this unit is made up of individual components, each available for separate purchase. This will allow users to upgrade or replace a part of the system without having to purchase a whole new unit, thus preserving an original investment.

Built-In Fan & Heater
    For maximum outdoor protection, this dome camera comes equipped with an IP66 rated enclosure along with a built-in heater and fan. Together these allow safe camera installation outdoors in harsh weather conditions and in temperatures as low as -60°F and as high as 140°F.

128x Wide Dynamic Range
    An advanced WDR function helps the camera cope with tricky lighting situations such as harsh back light and high contrast, conditions frequently encountered in glass enclosed lobbies and parking lots. WDR corrects this by separately capturing the dark and bright regions of an image and then combining the two to produce a well defined image with a perfect balance of dark and bright.

Day/Night Function
    A Day/Night function auto switches the camera from high resolution color during the day to a light sensitive B/W mode when light levels fall, thus ensuring round-the-clock dependable security operation.

35x Optical Zoom
    A powerful 35x optical zoom makes it an indispensable tool for applications in need of a camera that can cover a large area and at the same time have the ability to quickly move in for a close detailed look when necessary.

Electronic Image Stabilization
    A built-in image stabilization system minimizes the effects of image shake, enabling camera installation in areas subject to high frequency vibrations such as train stations, airports and highways.

Back Box Memory
    Camera settings and often used functions such as PTZ presets, patterns and zones can be stored to the back box memory system and easily retrieved when necessary. These functions remain stored in memory even when the camera is removed or upgraded.

Auto Flip
    Auto flip rotates the camera 180° during full tilt operation in order to keep a person or object passing directly beneath the dome displayed in the upright position.

Proportional Pan/Tilt
    Pan and tilt speeds are operated in proportion to the depth of zoom. This prevents images from whizzing by in a blur during close-up zoom and from hardly moving at all when the lens is at its widest position.

On-Screen Compass & Tilt Display
    An on-screen compass and tilt display provides an operator with exact camera orientation and also helps with camera positioning.

Window Blanking
    Up to eight sections of the image can be blocked from view for legal or privacy reasons. A block will automatically adjust its size and shape in proportion to the camera's pan, tilt and zoom positions.

UTP Video Transmission Option
    In addition to a standard BNC video interface, this camera also supports a passive UTP circuit connector. This make it easy to install the camera in buildings already wired with this type of cabling.
