Pelco EH2508 8" Outdoor Enclosure
The Pelco EH2508 Dust-Tight Aluminum Water-Proof Enclosure is a rain and dust-proof enclosure that houses a wide range of cameras either with fixed focal length or motorized zoom lenses. It is designed to protect CCTV cameras from adverse weather conditions.
This dust-tight enclosure comprises a T-handle on the rear plate and a sled for the camera mounting to assist in the removal of the plate during installation and servicing. Additionally, its rear plate features two adjustable cable glands for unobstructed cable entry.
The enclosure's optional heater consists of two elements that aid in easy switch from a heater to a defroster. While the unit switches on to defog in case of a temperature drop below 70°F (21°C), it automatically changes to defrost, if the temperature falls further to 40°F (4°C).
The aluminum construction makes this enclosure compact and lightweight. It can be installed easily on pan/tilt units or fixed mounts. Its optional accessories include a sun shroud which blocks the lens from direct sunlight during day thus preventing the images from being washed out due to harsh light.
