There are two Fortune 500 companies with headquarters in the city: Chesapeake Energy Corporation and Devon Energy Corporation. Oklahoma is a center for Oklahoma state government and history. The Oklahoma History Center and the Oklahoma Historical Society are both located in Oklahoma City.
