How to find your Gateway and DVR’s IP address

In the main screen when the DVR turns on, right click and select Main Menu.

Enter the username and password to access the main menu.

The default username and password are the following:

username: 888888

password: 888888

Once you are in the main menu, click on the Network icon, to access the network menu.

Check the box next to DHCP and click Save

Power Cycle the DVR

  • Select Shutdown
  • Select Restart
  • Click OK

Obtaining the IP Address

Once it restarts, following the steps above, access the network menu again. As shown in the picture to the left, the IP Address and the Gateway IP address is shown. We will need this information to set up the port forwarding of our DVR.

Uncheck the DHCP box, write down the IP Address, Subnet Mask, and Gateway, and click Save

The TCP and UDP ports are in the connection section.

We will need the TCP and UDP Port numbers.

For iMaxCamPro the TCP Port is: 37777 and the UDP port is: 37778

In the main screen of the DVR right click anywhere and in the drop-down menu select “Main Menu”

Click the setting icon to access the settings menu.

Click the Network icon, to access the network information.

Once on the network screen, select the DHCP box and click save for the DVR to automatically obtain the IP Address and Gateway IP Address information.

 

Click Save.

Power Cycle

  • Select Shutdown
  • Set to Restart system and click OK
