2000 Series Control/Communicators are specifically designed to provide a full data interface to an UPLINK™ Radio Transceiver . Routing of different events by group (i.e., alarm, trouble, restoral, opening , closing, test, etc.) are programmable. The systems use Radionics’ Modem IIIa2 communications format to central station over both UPLINK and telephone networks. Systems supervise all internal functions, external circuits and display system information at keypads.D2412U can be expanded up to 24 points using any combination of hardwired points and/or wireless sensors. D208 expander supports up to eight hardwired points. D222A LCD keypad/expander supports up to four hardwired points. D208RF Expander supports up to eight wireless sensors. D216RF Expander supports up to sixteen wireless sensors. Any combination of above expanders (4 maximum) can be used. 2000 Series on-premises system, user and point status annunciation is provided through system keypad. Any combination of up to eight D202A, D220A, D222A or D223A keypads are supported.* D202A’s user friendly interface features a 13-LED display. Display shows system, user and point status. Innovative orientation of LED’s, keys and point descriptions on keypad make system operation intuitive. D222A and D223A user friendly interface features a 2-line, 32 character alphanumeric display. This easily readable display shows system, user, and point status. Most users can operate the system with confidence after only a few minutes of instruction. Need for extensive training sessions is eliminated. Combined with proper installation, text keypad’s simplify user interface and help reduce false alarms often associated with new systems and new users. * You may need an external power supply when multiple keypads are used.
