Boise has many beautiful parks for recreation including the Boise River Greenbelt which is a popular destination for fishing and swimming. The Boise National Forest is home to the Bogus Basin ski area which attracts thousands of local skiers and snowboarders during the winter months. The World Center for Birds of Prey is located in Boise and does important work re-establishing endangered species.
