I needed to upgrade my older surveillance system and this system by Worldeyecam seemed perfect. I wired the system myself and it was extremely easy. The camera mounts also serve as a means to hide the hole that the camera wire comes through-this was an excellent and clever design. I immediately thought that navigating via the DVR menu was simple. After hooking the system up to my computer, I found that the web based menu is even easier! To get the system for remote monitoring I called the Worldeyecam Tech Support Line and spoke with an agent that logged on to my computer and set up my port forwarding on my router for me, then gave me instructions on how to do this for future reference so If I moved my system I would know where to go to adjust setings. If you are using a router it can be a bit tricky but was completed in less than a 10 minutes!! Compared to quotes around $3500 this is the BEST deal around!!!!! I plan on getting another system for my daughter and her family. This is a great system at a great price!
