Bullet cameras are the ideal security cameras that you can install in both indoor and outdoor areas. The camera shaped and designed more like a bullet, can be easily mounted on the ceilings and the walls to give you a clear image of the area under surveillance. The most renowned brands such as Sony, Intellipix, KT&C, StarCam and Zodiak offer you a wide array of bullet cameras, each with unique special features and varying versions.

  • The cameras come with varying CCD colored sensors. Some come in 1/3 inch or 1.4 inch sizes.
  • The cameras operate with 12V DC power supply.
  • Most bullet cameras have high resolution lenses to capture clear images of the suspects and the secured areas. Some of the cameras have a clear horizontal resolution of about 480, 420 or 540 TVL and above lines.
  • Nearly most of the camera lens used in the bullet cameras is standard with 3.6 mm.
  • There are several other bullet cameras as well with external 4-9mm varifocal lens that can be adjusted from the camera’s rear end.
  • Cameras have a Digital Signal processing system installed.
  • The bullet cameras produce quality images even during low light using its dual sensor system. The Super HAD Technology offered by Sony uses an auto switching system that switches the cameras from the simple mode to the black and white mode within seconds based on the environmental conditions.
  • Most bullet cameras have a low light sensitivity ranging from 0 - 1 LUX.
  • The cameras come with the infrared system installed within thus allowing you to capture clear images even during the pitch dark conditions. Some of these day and night cameras have an exceptional light illumination system powered by 36 LED illuminators.
  • The cameras have an electronic shutter time of nearly 1/60-1/100,000 sec.
  • Each bullet camera version has a different power consumption that measures from about 90mA to 1.8 W.
  • The bullet cameras encased in the strong IP66 enclosure are designed to fight strongly against all types of moderate and harsh weather conditions.
