The Pelco SD4H35-PG-1 Spectra IV SE Horizon Dome System
is a professional grade PTZ camera. With just three main components -
the black box, a dome drive, and a lower dome - the unit offers
hassle-free installation and maintenance. The lower dome bubble is
designed to properly coordinate with the lens for clear images even at
long focal lengths.
With a vertical tilt capability of up to 18 degrees above the horizon, the Pelco IV camera can function across a wide area. This versatile camera is capable of smooth pans across a range of speeds from 0.1 degrees per second to 400 degrees per second. Almost all directions around the camera can be covered with the ability of continuous rotation across 360 degrees coupled with a 180 degrees rotational 'auto-flip' motion.
This day-night camera offers a resolution of 540 TVL and can capture clear pictures in low light conditions too. With a 128X Wide Dynamic Range (WDR), the camera ensures proper compensation for scenes having exceptional lighting contrasts. The automatic 'white balance' feature further enhances the image quality. The white balance settings can be manually overridden by the user, if necessary. The camera also offers the Selectable Progressive Scan or Interlaced output feature.
The electronic image stabilization in the camera ensures that any image blurring caused due to vibrations in the camera from moving traffic or strong winds are digitally cleared. The Motion Detection feature allows the camera to detect when any motion takes place in the field of vision. This triggers an alarm that activates recording. Thus, the hard drive space can be saved by recording only when the alarm is activated, rather than recording continuously.
This day/night camera is capable of 35x optical zoom and 12x digital zoom. The window blanking feature allows a four-sided privacy area to be set by the user. Using the horizontal and zone blanking feature, you customize the capture to only certain parts of the sweep. In addition, the system also has an on-screen compass and a tilt display that aids in determining positions. A Camera Title Overlay function allows 20 user-definable characters.
