RPM1521 Minuteman RPM® Series 2-Port Remote Power Manager
The Minuteman® Remote Power Manager (RPM) provides the ability to locally and remotely monitor and manage power to your devices. The surge-protected 2-port RPM 1521 provides the ability to monitor and turn on and off powered devices at remote sites through a single IP address, literally from anywhere in the world. This allows the resetting of power to attached devices without dispatching personnel to remote locations, saving valuable time and money. Users connect Minuteman’s RPM to a network using a standard Ethernet connection. It can then be monitored and managed easily through a web browser or SNMP Network Management System (NMS). The RPM can submit its notifications via email, SNMP trap or SMS text message broadcast. It can be preset for a day of the week and a specific time to start-up and shut down individual devices.Features of this products are IP-addressable Remote Power Manager with built-in web server and 2 power outlets. Manual power ON/OFF button to completely power down the RPM 1521. Each AC power outlet can be independently switched ON/OFF, power cycled for immediate reboots, or rebooted with timed delays, power cycle sequencing with assigned priority, and power event scheduling can be set. Supports power start sequencing to prevent all of the connected devices from starting simultaneously, thus limiting the in-rush current to the RPM. Auto-Ping feature monitors and auto-detects any failed network equipment and performs a timed reboot. IP filter/mask function helps manage user privileges and prevent unauthorized access to the control menu through the network. LEDs for power status and control mode indication.
