The unit's optical budget is also determined by the transmitter model: 28dB with FT8101ASSTR and 20dB with FT8101SSTR. Subtract 3dB from the unit's optical power budget when using it with 50/125um multimode fiber. It can be customized with separately available accessories, such as rack kits and wall mounts.
