ASK-4 Kit #200 is a single zone audio monitoring system designed for direct connection to a CCTV Monitor with built-in amplifier and speaker. Model MA-1 Interface Adapter receives the wiring from the Verifact A Microphone, supplies power and drives the audio signals into the Audio In port of the CCTV Monitor. The MA-1 also has RCA input/output jacks for recording and playback from a DVR/VCR. Both live audio and playback audio are channeled through the CCTV monitor’s speaker. Distance between the Verifact microphone and MA-1 Interface Adapter may be up to 1,000 ft. using recommended wiring.
The Verifact A Microphone in ASK-4 Kit #200 is an electret condenser type with pre-amp, omni-directional pattern and produces line level output. It can pick up normal sounds approximately 15 feet away all directions or within a 30 foot diameter circle. It is normally surface mounted to a ceiling but may also be installed to a wall or a flat surface.
