This type of camera is best suited for portable hidden surveillance applications and in particular for use by law enforcement personnel during sting operations. Because of its portable nature, this camera's potential is most realized when paired with a portable DVR, like the Bolide PVR-330, to complete a portable camera/recorder system. The camera comes as a package complete with power supply and battery pack. A standard RCA connector on the camera provides easy plug and play operation to a TV or VCR/DVR. The Bolide Technology Group Hi-resolution Outdoor Bullet Camera with 1/3” Super HAD CCD image sensor and Wide Dynamic Technology captures crisp images at 600TVL (color) and 700TVL (B&W) resolutions. It includes a 2.8-11mm lens for wide and close-up monitoring. With the capability to switch automatically between color and B&W as per the changes in ambient lighting, the camera ensures accurate color reproduction in daylight and enhanced B&W images at night. Featuring 42 IR LEDs, the bullet camera works in complete darkness (0 lux illumination), and offers a visibility distance up to 131’ (40m). Digital noise reduction technology corrects any video noise that could cause blurring or distortion in the images by minimizing the signal-to-noise ratio penalties. The gamma correction curve allows you to adjust the variations in light input for producing a corresponding output in light intensity. Multi-zone backlight compensation adjusts video gain to correct the exposure when the object being captured is in front of a bright light.
