The Bolide Technology Group manufactured color CCTV camera hidden inside the middle of a neck tie. This type of camera is best suited for portable hidden surveillance applications and in particular for use by law enforcement personnel during sting operations. Because of its portable nature, this camera's potential is most realized when paired with a portable DVR, like the Bolide PVR-330, to complete a portable camera/recorder system. The camera comes as a package complete with power supply and battery pack. A standard RCA connector on the camera provides easy plug and play operation to a TV or VCR/DVR. The model is BC7009AVAIR12/24R 1/3" Super HAD II CCD with DSP. The BC7009AVAIR1224R adopting the latest New-generation high-sensitive CCD and DSP, it can receive clear image event at circumstances with very low illumination. This camera has 600 lines horizontal resolution color, and 700 lines horizontal resolution B/W. Also, the Day & Night function can switch automatically into color or B/W according to optical changes. This camera is easy to remote adjust the camera menu through RS-485, this greatly facilitates the installation and test. The Bolide Technology Group 600 TVL High Resolution Dome Camera generates an ultra high resolution of 600 TV lines, resulting in super sharp images of the surveillance area. Video is captured using a Sony 1/3" Super HAD II CCD, an image sensor recognized for its ability to maintain superior image quality in a range of lighting and scene environments. In poor lighting situations this camera will switch from color to a B/W mode with a minimum illumination requirement of only 0.001 lux. In B/W mode the camera's resolution is also increased from 600 TVL to 700 TVL, thus enhancing image visibility during nighttime hours. In very low light this camera will activate its built-in IR illumination system, enabling it to see in complete darkness.

Day to night switching can be operated manually via an on-board camera switch, by setting the camera for auto switching, or by activating this function remotely via the camera's RS-485 port conforming to the Pelco-D protocol. Day to night switching can also be delayed from 3 to 12 seconds. This camera also offers selectable WDR and BLC settings to help maintain proper exposure in unbalanced lighting situations. Other important controls include privacy masking (4 zones), selectable white balance, mirror function, and motion detection. This camera's integrated 2.8-12mm varifocal lens lets you easily switch from a wide to a telephoto field of view to suit a particular viewing requirement.
