The mechanical construction is designed to withstand the environmental stress of surveillance installations. It offers long and reliable operation with no maintenance. This telephoto lens is designed to provide detailed coverage at long distances in applications such as stadiums or perimeter monitoring. The standard C-mount allows using the lens with a variety of cameras.The Camera can be set manually to adjust IR illumination levels, enabling you to change the levels of luminance and contrast according to the shooting environment. Picture clarity of the recorded surveillance footage is amazingly clear thanks to the latest generation of H.264 video compression that offers unsurpassed video quality while taking up little hard drive space. With a 500GB Hard Drive (not included) you can record about 3 weeks of continuous video for four cameras at CIF resolution. Of course you can record even longer if you use scheduled based recording or motion activated recording. The DVR comes with the motion sensing feature, where it watches each camera for changes in the picture and starts recording when it senses motion.
